The gym was built in 1935, and had french doors. This picture was taken later that same year.
The gym now. The windows aren't broken out, they were painted to try to keep the afternoon sun out. At least we don't have to replace them, just scrape them.
All these pictures were taken a few years ago, before we did anything to it. It does get better. This low area between the gym and the old school is the locker rooms. The boys side even has a 7 headed shower.
This area was the original school, built in 1915. The last principal the school had, in the early 70's, decided to enclose the front entrance, to use as his office. I think it is hideous. And that's putting it nicely.
This area was the Home Ec. department and was built in the 1950's.
This was the cafeteria and was built in the 1960's.
After you come around the back of the cafeteria, you see the shop.

It's in a beautiful 100 year old neighborhood.
I love trees, I'll do anything to keep a tree, (and these were original to the school), but they were in really bad shape. They had to come down.
